Refund & Cancellation Policy – Commando Adventure Academy

At Commando Adventure Academy, we value your trust and want every participant to feel confident when booking our programs. We understand that plans can change, unexpected events happen, and sometimes cancellations are unavoidable. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains clearly how refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling requests are handled for all our courses, events, and programs.

We encourage you to read this carefully before making a booking so that you fully understand your rights and our procedures.


1. Purpose of This Policy

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Provide transparency on how refunds and cancellations are managed.

  • Ensure fairness for both participants and the academy.

  • Maintain smooth operations, considering the resources we commit to each event (trainers, venues, equipment, etc.).

  • Encourage responsible booking, so seats are not held and later wasted.


2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • All individual bookings made through our website or directly with our staff.

  • Group bookings and corporate events, unless a separate written agreement exists.

  • Adventure packages, training programs, survival courses, and special events organized by Commando Adventure Academy.


3. General Principles

  • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received.

  • Each booking reserves a seat and resources that cannot easily be reassigned at the last minute.

  • Refunds are not guaranteed for all cancellations but will be processed according to the terms outlined below.

  • We aim to process approved refunds within 7–14 business days using the original payment method.


4. Cancellations by Participants

a) Cancellation Timeline

  • 14 or more days before the event: Eligible for a full refund minus administrative fees (if any).

  • 7–13 days before the event: Eligible for a 50% refund.

  • Less than 7 days before the event: No refund available.

b) No-Shows

  • If you fail to attend without notifying us in advance, no refund will be issued.

c) Medical or Emergency Cancellations

  • If you cannot attend due to illness, injury, or an emergency:

    • You may request a reschedule or partial refund, subject to supporting documents (e.g., medical certificate).

    • Requests must be made in writing to hello@commandoadventure.academy.


5. Rescheduling & Transfers

Instead of a refund, participants may choose to:

  • Transfer their booking to another available date for the same program.

  • Transfer their seat to another participant (friend, colleague, or family member).

  • Apply the payment as credit toward a future course (valid for up to 6 months).


6. Cancellations by Commando Adventure Academy

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to:

  • Severe weather conditions or natural disasters.

  • Insufficient number of participants.

  • Safety concerns, emergencies, or trainer unavailability.

a) Our Commitments in Such Cases

If we cancel, participants will receive either:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to transfer to a future program at no additional cost.

We always aim to notify participants as early as possible in case of cancellations.


7. Refund Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Failure to meet health or safety requirements disclosed at registration.

  • Being removed from a program due to misconduct, unsafe behavior, or violation of academy rules.

  • Partial attendance (e.g., leaving mid-program).

  • Non-refundable fees such as processing charges or third-party booking fees.


8. Group Bookings & Corporate Events

For large groups or corporate training:

  • Special terms may apply and will be outlined in the written agreement.

  • Deposits are often non-refundable due to advance resource commitments.

  • Cancellations within 30 days of the event may result in partial refunds only.


9. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to hello@commandoadventure.academy with:

  • Your full name

  • Course name and date

  • Payment details

  • Reason for cancellation/refund request

  • Any supporting documents (if applicable)

Our support team will review your request within 3–5 business days. If approved, the refund will be issued within 7–14 business days.


10. Processing Time

  • Refunds are typically issued back to the original payment method.

  • Bank transfer refunds may take longer depending on your financial institution.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways or banks.


11. Administrative Fees

  • In some cases, a small administrative fee may be deducted from refunds to cover processing costs (e.g., bank charges, payment gateway fees).

  • These fees will always be disclosed upfront.


12. Safety & Force Majeure

Certain cancellations may fall under force majeure (events beyond our control), such as:

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)

  • Government restrictions (lockdowns, travel bans)

  • Strikes or civil unrest

In such cases, we may not issue cash refunds but will provide credit or rescheduling options.


13. Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with the outcome of a refund request:

  • Please contact our support team first for clarification.

  • If the issue remains unresolved, we encourage mediation before legal action.

  • Disputes will be governed by the laws of [Insert Country/Region].


14. Participant Responsibilities

To make refund and cancellation processes smoother, participants are expected to:

  • Book only after confirming availability.

  • Provide accurate details during registration.
